To become a Tao Calligraphy Practitioner involves a number of stages:

• Attend a 5-day Tao Calligraphy Certification workshop with Master Sha or an authorized Certified Tao Calligraphy Teacher 
• Pass Tao Calligraphy writing of the sacred phrase taught in the workshop by 80%
• Receive spiritual approval
• Sign and submit the Tao Calligraphy Practitioner Agreement
• Register and receive the special services to become a Tao Calligraphy Practitioner
• Register and complete the online Tao Calligraphy Practitioner Start-up Training Course
• Pass the required number of Session Reviews for Tao Calligraphy Practitioner’s certification and spiritual approval to become a certified Tao Calligraphy Practitioner
• Receive the certificate for Tao Calligraphy Practitioner
