To be eligible to receive the Kuan Yin Lineage Holder transmission, you must take the Tao Academy training course.  In Semester 1, you will learn to chant Da Bei Zhou.  Before receiving the Kuan Yin Lineage Holder Transmission, you are required to pass a singing assessment and be spiritually approved.  You must be able to sing Da Bei Zhou from memory as Master Sha does on his Da Bei Zhou CD with a very high degree of fidelity (~90–95% or more) to the pronunciations, melody, and rhythm.
